Well, I was watching that commercial for nasal spray--the one where a barbershop quartet bullies a helpless woman into using their product by shoving irritants in her face--and I thought what everyone surely thought after watching that commercial...'say, didn't that middle guy used to be in Rockapella?' So I checked, and yes indeed, he was. As were a couple of the other 'Astelins,' but I don't recognize them. Maybe if they put on fedoras and grew out their hair...hmmm...

Well, anyway, their current incarnation is called the GrooveBarbers, and they have a website, which I visited, and which pretty much scares the pee out of me even in retrospect. Mostly Sean Altman (name = ironic). He looks, to me, like he's about one second away from leaping for your throat like a hyped-up, evil little rodent. Perhaps a wharf-rat on amphetamines. I can picture him digging his unnaturally long and sharp fingernails into the shoulders of his fellow GrooveBarbers. Just looking at his group picture, I have to clench my jaws to hold back hysterical, terrified laughter. Does he not look crazed? And eyebrow-less?

Also, this is not so bad, but the guy on the left looks like he should be on Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius, a show I despise.
